1. Two of the most important concepts I learned this semester are value and perspective. When I got into this class I thought I understood the definition of value, shading. However, after the hatching value scale and Final Still Life Drawing it made me realize that it's more than shading. Value can identify shadows, highlights, contours, and light which makes your drawing/painting more 3 dimensional. Another thing I learned was perspective, learning this was a challenge however when I understood it everything started to make sense. From this concept, I learned that perspective is a key to represent a space.
Assignment that I am the most proud of is the Imitation Drawing. This was the longest project I've worked on and I put a lot of effort into it. This project forces me to look at detail like the waves expectedly the ones on the bottom when it gets complex. However, when I finished with that part it started to get easier. I learned a lot, like to be patient and to take your time even though it's not something I will try to imitate. I'm happy that I tried.
