Assignments that I am most proud of 

The assignment I am most proud of is the movie poster, especially Tony's Agreement. Even though it was challenging to draw the hands and the city, and then transfer the design to my computer, it turned out so well. I love romantic comedies, and I’m proud to say that I would honestly watch this if it were a movie. For this poster, I particularly loved adding intricate details to the flowers and the nails on the girl’s hand. This project was impactful for my learning because it taught me how everything I learned in this class is useful for advertising. Creating a poster for a specific genre helped me build a solid foundation for understanding how communication and graphic design go hand in hand.

Looking ahead, I think I want to take another graphic design class because it was so much fun. Taking this class also helped me gain a basic understanding of Photoshop as a software. I would like to find another class that focuses on design. My plan is to either take a college course through MassArt or enroll in another class next year. My next goal is to become better at designing. Even though it might seem like I didn’t struggle, it took me a long time to develop concrete designs. I want to take a class or study more about design to continue improving.
