Aklatang Bayan Online

The Sentro ng Wikang Filipino (SWF) of the University of the Philippines Diliman launched Aklatang Bayan Online in August 2020. This is a free online repository of Filipino books, refereed journals, books, and creative writings submitted by researchers, scholars, researchers, and writers.

The Office of the Associate Dean for Research and Creative Work (OADRCW) main responsibility is the promotion of research and creative work, scholarly publications, and linkages pertaining to scholarly work. 

ASEAN Digital Library 

The ASEAN Digital Library is a regional project to aggregateand connect the digitised resources of National Libraries in the ASEAN region so that these repositories can be accessed through a single search facility. BAHANDIAN

Abstracts and full text of journal articles published by Central Philippine University. Access to BAHANDIAN is free and there is no need to log in. Each item in Bahandian is also very easy to share on social media with the social media buttons.

Central Philippine State University (CPSU) Journals 

The PSDRM Journal publishes articles about resource management and conservation, biodiversity, and social and technological development in the Philippines while the Philippine Innovative Education Journal (PIEJ) is a peer-reviewed journal of Central Philippines State University which provides a forum for researchers, school administrators, and teachers from within the university and among other institutions.

ChanRobles Virtual Law Library

The Virtual Law Library is the largest online source on Philippine Law since 1998, created by the ChanRobles Law firm. This contains full text of Philippine laws, statutes and codes, Supreme Court decisions, foreign constitutions and laws as well as thousands of links to worldwide Internet legal resources as well as general Internet guides, search tools and other sites of interest which you may find useful for legal, government, business and educational research.

Commission on Human Rights (CHR) eLibrary

The Commission on Human Rights’ library collection is accessible online and they also feature free online databases. The eLibrary contains information on their resources that specialize on human rights issues. The library accommodates research and scanning requests.

COVID-19 E-resources (Philippines)

Compiled by Legislative Library, Archives and Museum, House of Representatives, COVID-19 E-resources website is “a compilation of COVID-19 policies and issuances, laws and legislations, publications, websites, and databases, published by local and foreign governments, academic institutions, international organizations, and health science publishers.”

Datos PH 

Datos PH is a public repository of Philippine data that spans a lot of categories: from natural language processing data to law enforcement to natural hazards, you name it! 

Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) e-Library

The DTI eLibrary is a curation of information, education, and communication (IEC) materials that supports the Department’s mission to be the main economic catalyst that enables innovative, competitive, job generating, inclusive business; and empowers consumers. Some publications are downloadable and their online catalog is also open to the public.

DepEd Commons

DepEd Commons contains online review materials and Open Educational Resources (OER) authored by public school teachers who are subject matter experts. Teachers can retain, reuse, revise, remix, and redistribute the content by blending it with a learning management system for distance learning.

DIWA E-Journal 

Ang DIWA ay isang refereed e-journal na naglalayong maglathala ng mga makabuluhan at makatuturang pag-aaral sa Sikolohiyang Pilipino na nagsusuri at umuunawa sa diwa at pagkataong Pilipino mula sa oryentasyon at perspektibong Pilipino tungo sa pagpapalawak ng pambansang kamalayan at kamulatan ng sambayanang Pilipino. 

Diwa: Studies in Philosophy and Theology 

Diwa: Studies in Philosophy and Theology is a refereed journal published twice a year by the Graduate Schools of Divine Word Seminary, Tagaytay City, and Christ the King Mission Seminary, Quezon City, Philippines.

DOST PCAARRD eLibrary

Department of Science and Technology – Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic, and Natural Resources Research and Development (DOST-PCAARRD) has launched its online library. Their research, publications, technical reports, and other resources are available. Users are encouraged to create an account to access.

DOST Starbooks

DOST Starbooks (Science and Technology Academic and Research-Based Openly Operated Kiosks) was established by the Science and Technology Information Institute (STII) to provide scientific and educational information to schools. Originally, Starbooks are access portals in key areas in the Philippines where residents can have access to the scientific information physically available at DOST (SciNeT), Philippine eLib project sources, freely-available online resources, and subscribed databases (if any).

DOST-Science and Technology Information (STII) Library

This contains the union catalog of the DOST ScINET-PHIL, a consortium of all the 21 libraries and information centers under the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) including its 15 regional offices. Library resources are available.

Filipinas Heritage Library

This library is a private library of the Ayala Foundation’s Arts and Culture Division. Their collection is focused on books and other materials authored by Filipinos or about the Philippines, with a focus on Philippine history and culture. They have an Online Library with digitized materials organized by subject.

Globe eLibrary

A web platform and mobile application that provides students and educators with free and quick access to digital storybooks and eLearning videos. It features age-appropriate and engaging educational resources.

Managed by the Legislative Library, Archives, and Museum, House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress.

Marayum

Marayum is a dictionary-making tool funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) that can be used as an online dictionary for Philippine indigenous languages.

National Library of the Philippines e-Resources Portal

Licensed electronic resources (eResources) made available by the NLP through the Reference Division (RD) and Filipiniana Division (FD) are databases of online journals, ebooks, audiobooks, and other eResources.

The National Agricultural Library "houses one of the world's largest collections devoted to agriculture and related sciences."

The Philippine E-Journals (PEJ) is an online collection of academic publications of different higher education institutions and professional organizations.

Philippine eLib 

The Philippine eLib is a collaborative project of the National Library of the Philippines (NLP), University of the Philippines (UP), Department of Science and Technology (DOST), Department of Agriculture (DA), and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED). 

Philippine Epics and Ballads Archive

A multi-media archive of Philippine literature such as epics and ballads, maintained by the Ateneo de Manila University.

Philippine Geographical Journal (PGJ)  

Established on the 8th of December 1950, PGS is a professional organization of geographers and geography enthusiasts whose main goal is to stimulate geographic interest through research and education, as well as to apply geographic knowledge in all phases of human activities. PGS publishes the Philippine Geographical Journal (PGJ) and spearheads the annual National Conference on Geographical Studies (NCGS). PGS is part of the Philippine Social Sciences Council (PSSC), a private organization of professional social science associations in the Philippines.

Philippine Studies: Historical and Ethnographic Viewpoints 

Philippine Studies: Historical and Ethnographic Viewpoints is an internationally refereed journal that publishes scholarly articles and other materials on the history of the Philippines and its peoples, both in the homeland and overseas. 

Philosophia: International Journal of Philosophy (PIJP)

Philosophia: International Journal of Philosophy (PIJP) is published by the Philippine National Philosophical Research Society (PNPRS). It publishes articles that present all types of philosophical points of view. It is open to all branches of philosophy and all types of philosophical idiosyncrasies for as long as the arguments are rationally and logically presented.

Samahang Pisika ng Pilipinas 

The Samahang Pisika ng Pilipinas (SPP) aim of promoting research and setting a collegial venue where researchers in various fields of physics can find opportunities for creative scientific work and productive exchange of ideas. The Proceedings of the Samahang Pisika ng Pilipinas publishes full-length peer-reviewed articles in physics that are presented in the annual Samahang Pisika ng Pilipinas Physics Congress while PISIKA is the online, open-access, and peer-reviewed physics and applied physics journal publication of the Samahang Pisika ng Pilipinas.

SEAFDEC/AQD Repository

The digital repository of scholarly and research information of the department. This is to enable the effective dissemination of AQD researchers' in-house and external publications for free and online.

Siliman Journal (SJ)  

The SILLIMAN JOURNAL is devoted to discussion and investigation in the humanities, social sciences, and sciences, and is published by Silliman University, Dumaguete City, Philippines. SJ publishes two issues per year and has more than 200 journal exchanges with educational institutions, government bodies, and non-government organizations worldwide.

Socioeconomic Research Portal for the Philippines (SERP-P)

An online knowledge resource that contains socioeconomic studies and materials produced by the Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS) and other academic and research institutions. Users can access socioeconomic materials in various formats: journal articles, books, working papers, policy notes, research papers, newsletters from multiple sources.

Southeast Asia Digital Library

Provides free and open access to a variety of materials created in and about Southeast Asia. SEADL supports researchers, educators, and members of the public by aggregating and contextualizing these unique digitized materials in a single online environment that can be easily browsed and searched.

Supreme Court of the Philippines eLibrary

The “primary research tool in the speedy delivery of justice.” It serves the entire Judiciary: the Supreme Court, Court of Appeals, Sandiganbayan, Court of Tax Appeals, Regional Trial Courts, Metropolitan Trial Courts, Municipal Trial Courts and Shari’a Courts. It has supported legal education by providing information to law schools upon request.

University of Santo Tomas Journals Online

University of the Philippines (U.P.) Diliman Journals Online  

The University of the Philippines (U.P.) Diliman Journals Online is a free online service exclusively offered to U.P. Diliman journals. It aims to gather all the U.P. Diliman journals in a single repository; widen their dissemination and visibility online, and provide journal editors with a convenient means of implementing the editorial process. 

UST Miguel de Benavides Library 

The UST Miguel de Benavides Library is engaged in a remarkable project called Lumina Pandit II which is being supported by the UnionBank of the Philippines. The project consists of three major components: conservation, digitization, and publication of the UST Heritage Library rare collections housed in the Library as well as the Archives collections.

Freelipiniana Online Library

For Filipiniana selections which are prized for their cultural and intellectual value, but are largely unavailable now because many have not yet been digitized and opened for online access. The Freelipiniana Online Library seeks to bring Filipiniana literature to every Filipino in a time when information and education are limited.


Multong Aklat: Endangered Books Digital Archive

In response to the book banning of Communist-related books in libraries in the Philippines, concerned groups compiled an online collection of ‘subversive’ books.

National Commission for Culture and Arts (NCCA) free books

The NCCA has 9 free books on Philippine culture, art, and history available for free from their website.

National Museum of the Philippines Free Books

The National Museum of the Philippines has books on Philippine history and culture available for free from their website. These books are digitized in PDF format and can be downloaded.
