Onboarding & Organization Setup

Introduction

This guide explains how to get started with Exei by setting up your organization, understanding organization-level access, and inviting your team.

Onboarding in Exei happens at the Organization level. Once your organization is set up, you can create AI agents, manage users, track usage, and control access across the platform.

Creating Your Organization

When you sign up for Exei, you are onboarding an organization, not just an individual user.

During sign-up, you are required to provide:

Organization name
Industry
Work email address

The work email is mandatory to ensure secure and verified access.

After submitting these details, your organization is created in Exei.

First User and Account Ownership

The first user who signs up for an organization automatically becomes the Super Admin.

The Super Admin is responsible for:

Managing the organization setup.
Creating and overseeing AI agents.
Inviting team members.
Controlling access and configurations.

You can add more Super Admins later if needed.

Signing In for the First Time

Once your organization is created, you can sign in using your registered work email.

On successful login:

You are redirected to the My Agents page.
This becomes your main starting point within Exei.

From here, you can create AI agents and access all organization and agent-level features.

My Agents Page Overview

The My Agents page displays all AI agents created under your organization.

From this page, you can:

View existing AI agents.
Create a new AI agent.
Open and manage individual agents.

If no agents exist yet, this page will prompt you to create your first AI agent.

Organization Setup Completion

Your organization setup is considered complete once:

The organization is created.
A Super Admin account is established.
You have access to the My Agents page.

At this stage, no additional configuration is required to proceed..

You can now move forward with:

Creating AI agents
Training agents with your data

Deploying agents across channels

Organization Info

The Organization Info section contains basic details about your organization.

Here, you can:

View your organization name and industry.
Verify account information.
Add your organization's logo, for customizing your account.

This information is used to maintain consistency across all AI agents created under your organization.

Each Exei account is tied to a single organization.
All AI agents belong to the organization in which they are created.
Organization details apply across all agents.
Access to advanced features depends on your selected plan.

Best Practices for Onboarding

Use a shared or official work email for the Super Admin account.
Ensure organization name and industry are accurate.
Complete onboarding before inviting team members.
Start with one AI agent to familiarize yourself with the platform.
