1. Review the PPST, the Southeast Asia Teacher Competency Standards and the TEDx videos, what competencies does a great teacher possess?

The following skills are possessed by a great teacher: knowledge and comprehension of the subject matter. They also incorporate the local community into their lesson, which instills in the pupils a sense of the interconnectedness of everything and the importance of real-world learning. They also help students study in a way that allows them to share best practices and cultivate a passion of learning that lasts a lifetime. Additionally, they have traits that make a successful teacher, like a willingness to listen to kids, communication skills, collaboration abilities, the ability to adopt, and patience. Additionally, they have qualities that make for good teaching, such an engaging classroom presence, that help them become better teachers every day.

2. Are these competencies limited only to professional competencies?

The competencies are not just restricted to professional ones since a potential teacher can also perform admirably in a step-by-step procedure until they reach the greatest quality for teaching. Since educators constantly learn new things, they can impart this knowledge to students to help them understand how to learn and how to teach. A teacher can be every student's buddy in a positive way while still considering them as their student. If pupils are having issues at home or at school, a teacher can serve as an advisor. But most significantly, both students and teachers are aware of their roles, duties, and limitations. As a result, these competences can assist teachers in becoming professional educators.

3. For a teacher to be great, is it enough to possess the professional competencies to plan a lesson, execute a lesson plan, manage a class, assess learning, compute an report grades? Explain your answer.

I think it is adequate to be able to supervise a class, organize and carry out lessons, evaluate student learning, compute grades, and report them. They will be better able to do their duties if they possess professional competencies. In addition to imparting knowledge in the classroom, a great teacher will be able to inspire and motivate students to go beyond what is taught there. I firmly believe that excellent instructors possess subject-matter expertise and are able to interact with learners in a polished and competent manner. Therefore, in my opinion, having the necessary professional competences is more than enough to make someone an excellent teacher.

4. Which is more important--- personal qualities or professional qualities?

We prefer that a teacher's personal traits be more significant because they influenced their own attributes if they are to be effective. Provide them the tools they need to negotiate a new situation, make new friends and connections, or settle a dispute. A teacher who can listen to their students is one example of this. Since teachers cannot support and motivate their students to grow until they have a thorough understanding of who they are and where they are in their academic journey, listening and being a good listener are key skills in a teacher. In addition to helping students understand cultural differences, listening is a skill that teachers need since it helps them understand their own situations.

5. Who are teachers that we remember?

Teachers that are nice, approachable, and understanding are the ones we remember the most. If students are aware that they can approach the teacher at any time, they won't be as reluctant to participate and ask questions. Teachers who are considered "terrorists" separate the kids. Students are uncomfortable in class because of their dread of them. Their anxiety prevents them from participating and asking questions openly. We also tend to recall teachers who are strong communicators, use unique teaching methods, and include engaging activities in their lessons.

1.Which personal traits do I possess? Not possess? Where do I need improvement?

Since being patience is one of the hardest traits to cultivate, it is one of the personal traits I do possess. I need to learn how to be patient if I want to experience true happiness in my life. Another quality I need is the ability to put aside problems so that your career is not affected. And I need to work on improving my communication skills so that I can become a better listener and instructor.

2. Which professional competencies am I strongly capable of demonstrating?

The professional competencies am I strongly capable of demonstrating is that the teacher as a person because this profession where I belong and being a teacher is my dream and that what I want to become

3. In which competencies do I need to develop more?

The skills I need to improve on are all listed under the heading "Competencies," but the one I need to work on the most is becoming a teacher every day because not all teachers are happy all the time because we all have individual problems in our lives that we can't deny. to avoid issues affecting our job. And because I'm an emotional person, that's what I need to work on.

4. Who are the teachers that we remember most?

We remember teachers best when they are kind, approachable, and understanding. Students won't be as reluctant to participate and ask questions if they are aware that they can speak with the teacher at any time. Children are separated by teachers who are deemed "terrorists." Due to their fear of them, students feel uneasy in class. They are unable to participate or ask direct inquiries because of their anxiousness. Additionally, we frequently remember teachers that have excellent communication skills, employ original teaching strategies, and incorporate fun activities into their classes.

1. Observe. In assisting my Resource Teacher, I observed that personal traits such as self-critical and self-reliant and professional competencies like time management, being prepared all the time and being flexible were least/ not displayed and as a result, students were/ class were not organized and there will be lack of discipline inside the classroom.

2. Reflect. The lack of these personal traits and professional competencies ( mentioned in #1) may be caused by their own personal problems or the lack of self-control and self-awareness within themselves.

3. Plan. I would like to address this problem (mentioned in #2) by conducting an action research on Factors that Influence the Performance of Teachers

4. Act.

a) The main objective of my action research to find out what are the key factors that affect the performance of teachers inside the classroom.

b) My specific research questions are:

1. What is the main problem that teachers have that affects their performance in school?

2. What are interventions to solve this existing problem?

c) To answer my specific questions, I will conduct a quantitative research to know the percentage.
