Description:
Basic concepts of probability and statistics including data collection and analysis, correlation and regression, probability, discrete and continuous distributions (binomial, normal and t distributions), estimation and hypothesis testing, with an emphasis on applications and understanding of the main ideas.
Course Prerequisites: These are set by the WSU math dept as it is a CE course. For most students, this would be a Senior year course, but there would be some Juniors that could qualify.
Complete Secondary Math 1, 2, and 3 with at least a C average grade.
AND
MATH 1010 with a minimum grade of C, OR
or ACT Math with a minimum score of 23, OR
or ALEKS Math Exam with a minimum score of 46
