Seeding

This seeding method is mandatory for every level of tournament. Failure to use official seeding will result in a de-sanctioning of your event and may affect your ability to host future events.

All sanctioned tournaments will be seeded automatically by WATL leadership via the Tournament Roster template. Rosters must be submitted to the Tournament Roster Template for seeding 48 hours before the tournament starts. Seeding cannot be redone after Thursdays at 3pm ET, so be sure that rosters are complete and correct before sending them to the WATL team for seeding. Failure to submit rosters by the requested date/time could result in an unseeded bracket and the de-sanctioning of your event.

Don't add players to the App until it is time to seed the brackets. This way you ensure the exact players that are seeded are in the App.

How to Seed in the App

After all throwers are added, click on SEEDING and then PLAYOFFS tab to seed your tournament (red arrows below)
NEVER use the Round Robin or Qualifying Round tabs for seeding a sanctioned tournament
Set your Best Of to Best of 3 in the left-hand menu (red arrows below)
Set your Playoff Type to double elimination in the left-hand menu (red arrows below)
Once you have the seeding order from the Roster template spreadsheet, copy the list of Player IDs in order and paste them into the Order in Bulk box (shown in red below) on the playoffs tab of the App
Click Load, this will automatically reorder all throwers listed above the box (shown in blue below)
Click Save on the top right-hand corner of the screen and you’re ready to start the tournament via the Games tab

Once you hit save, the seeding order is loaded into the bracket on the Games tab. CLICKING THE SEEDING BUTTON AGAIN WILL REVERT SEEDING. If you click the Seeding button on accident, be sure to use the X to exit the screen, DO NOT HIT SAVE.
