There are currently no additional opportunities for National tournaments in 2025. Use this link to submit a request for a sanctioned WATL tournament or WKTL bid tournament.
No part of the official competition of a sanctioned WATL tournament will be thrown outdoors, including finals matches. WATL defines an indoor space as consisting of 4 enclosed walls which protect from the elements that could affect the outcome of the event/match/game.
All sanctioned tournaments of any discipline will consist of a best 2/3 games, double elimination.
If tournaments do not meet the outlined criteria for the Tier they are hosting 2 weeks before the published start date, that tournament will be recategorized into a lower Tier or unsanctioned by WATL.
Failure to meet requirements for sanctioned tournaments will result in disciplinary actions outlined in the document below.

Manage a well organized roster with complete and correct Player IDs
Understand bracket management and how to use the App
Have Certified Judges on staff for the event

Hosts frequently communicate with throwers about the schedule, brackets, and other important event information
Understand correct bracket and time management (sticking to the posted schedule)
Have targets, fault lines, and lanes up to WATL specification and of good quality
Have experienced lane Judges who understand the rules well
