What is College in the High School?

The College in the High School programs allow high school students to take Central Washington University (CWU) and Lower Columbia College (LCC) courses from their approved high school instructors without leaving the Woodland High School campus. 

How much does College in the High School Cost? FREE

As of the 2023-2024 academic year, College in the High School is completely free of cost for all students! 


Additional Resources - below is information regarding the enrollment process as well as the placement testing requirements. Students will complete placement tests at Woodland High School.

What College in the High School courses are available at WHS?

The following courses are available for eligible students:

*Students will need to take a placement test to be eligible for college credits 

Students receive credit on an official CWU or LCC transcript. Credits transfer to all Washington State colleges and universities as the courses appear on students' Woodland High School transcripts. When applying to colleges after high school, students will also need to request official transcripts from each college where they took courses.
