Tuesday, 5/7

• Students need to define all vocabulary words in chapter (Section 8.1 & 8.2) in marble notebook. (homework handout attached below).

• There are two additional words in Section 8.1 (real property/intangible property.

• Reminder: Read "Global Law Women's Rights" on pg. 183 of textbook-Discussion.

• There will be a vocabulary quiz on both Section 8.1 and 8.2. NO WORD BANK.

Wednesday, 5/8

• Begin discussing Chapter 8 PERSONAL PROPETY students should take notes on powerpoint.

• Review pg. 182, Section 8.1 Types of Property. Assign students to read entire Chapter 8.

• Complete Section 8.1 PowerPoint/Notes.

• Student can take notes from PowerPoint on pg. 71, Section 8.1 of the workbook.

• Discussion of bailments? What is it by definition.

• Mutual Benefit Bailment (examples)

• Sole benefit of bailor/bailee (gratuitous agreements examples)

• Bailments/Special Bailments/Gratutious Bailments/Mutual Benefit Bailments

Thursday 5/9

• Continue discussion/notes on Types of Property: Intellectual Property/Tangible and Intangible

Friday 5/10

• Students should complete workbook pgs. 71 (Section 8.1 Types of Property, 75(Section 8.2 Bailments, 77(Bailment Activity)

• This will count as a classwork grade.

Mon. 5/13

• Review Powerpoint all of Section 8.1

• HW. Complete in a google document slide #14 of Section8.1 PowerPoint.

Tues. 5/14

• In Section 8.2 discuss meaning of the word "inherhent".

• VOCABULARY QUIZ

• Complete pg. 78 (MC 5 questions) and pg. 79 (10 fill-in blank vocab review)

Wed. 5/15

• HW if not completed in class: Complete Unit 3 Enrichment Activities handout "Bailment Contract".

• Give back vocabulary quiz Chapter 8

• Tortious Bailment-discussion.

• Special Bailments: CommonCarriers/Warehouse/Hotelkeepers pg. 190-192

• Complete Section 8.2 PowerPoint.
