They all behaved so well when we had the inspector in school and showed him how well we do things at Prudhoe West. Unfortunately we aren't allowed to provide the outsome at this time as we must wait for the report to be published but we will share as soon as this becomes available.
We would also like to thanks parents for all their lovely comments and gifts over the past few days. Your support has meant a lot to us all.
Don't forget that its school photo next week. Dates as follows:

This term we are joining with local churches to support their Shoebox Appeal, sending gifts to a community in Romania. There are 3 ways to support this cause; Making complete Shoeboxes, donating items for collective School Shoeboxes, or donating empty, wrapped boxes. We've set ourself a school target of sending at least 25 boxes away - can you help us smash this? These can be sent in any time up to and including Friday 5th November 2021.
We do hope you will support us in supporting these worthwhile causes, which also all form part of the education we provide about giving to others and stamping out poverty.
A reminder that the payment schedule is as follows:
Thursday 21st October 2021
£95.00
Thursday 18th November 2021

On Friday 8th October 2021, 12 children in year 2 and 3 took part in the Mowden Hall invitational cross country event competing against schools from across the north of England. Cross Country was something completely new to all of us but we were excited to give it a try.
There was around 40 children in each race and age group and despite not getting any medals I was blown away by the places our children finished in. Above all that, what really stood out to me was the kindness our children showed to themselves, each other and children and adults from other schools. Having staff members from other schools comment on the manners, behaviour and attitudes of our kids made me burst with pride
Well done each and everyone of you! Despite the nerves, tumbles and finishing the race with only 1 shoe! - you persevered and made everyone at Prudhoe West very proud! " - Ms Gray

The first time you log on, search for 'Prudhoe West' (Prudhoe West First School Parent Teacher Association) and select us as your organisation to support, then shop via the smile.amazon.co.uk link rather than the main amazon site. Again there is no difference to you, but this will support the school. Please share these links via your socials and with friends and family.
