Mr. Heithoff: Global Studies
12/5-12/9
Students will be completing a DBQ (Document Based Question) project. They will ultimately be answering the question "Should their county be a part of the EU?" This assignment will largely be completed on their EU Debate slides which is on Google Classroom. By the end of the week students should have completed slides 1-15.
11/28-12/2
Students will be learning about the history of the European Union , its goals, and major policies. This will be done through a variety of activities and summarized on a google slides notes sheet that they will complete on Google Classroom.
11/14-11/18
Students will be learning about the creation of the United Nations through a Nearpod Activity on Google Classroom. Next, students will learn about the work of the United Nations by analyzing photographs and connecting it to the United Nations Charter, this assignment will be done on paper in the classroom.
11/7-11/11
For this week the students will be learning about the resistance to the Nazi regime. Students will learn about the Jewish resistance through a Peardeck activity and then complete a Google slides project about a hero of the Holocaust who refused to follow the antisemitic Nazi laws and secretly worked to save the lives of Jewish people who were in danger. These assignments are on Google Classroom.
