Basically, this semester, you will be choosing what you write, writing, working with a peer group to get and give critiques, and editing your work. You will also be publishing in some social media format (yep, that's right, publishing!) in addition to doing a little reading and lots of journaling. The goal of this class is to not only push you in your writing but to challenge you to make and keep your own schedule.
Because this is week one, I will be scheduling a few assignments for specific days so we can get used to working with each other. As the class progresses, more and more assignments will be completed on your timetable, rather than mine.
MONDAY - Syllabus Review / Expectations / A Writer Is...
TUESDAY - Social Contract / Journal #1 / Website Plan and Expectations
WEDNESDAY - Journal #2 / Stephen King's On Writing
