Mental Health & Wellness
In Wilson County Schools, we believe that mental health is essential to student well-being and academic success. Our Mental Health and Wellness services are designed to support the emotional, psychological, and social needs of all students. We believe that when students feel safe, supported, and connected, they are better prepared to learn and thrive.
We are committed to creating school environments that prioritize mental wellness, reduce stigma, and promote resilience. Through a combination of school-based mental health providers, school counselors, social workers, nurses, and community partnerships, we provide direct services, early interventions, prevention programming, and referrals to outside resources.
Whether a student is experiencing stress, anxiety, grief, trauma, or other challenges, our goal is to meet them where they are and provide the wraparound support they need. This section of the website outlines available services, how to access support, and resources for students, families, and staff.
