Music

The sounds of Samba are filling the school during Year 5 music lessons, as does the fantastic sound of singing when our year group choirs rehearse!  Assembly preparations continue for Pre Prep and our Early Years children are working on developing their listening and responding skills. The biggest musical events of the term are some way off yet, but we are already well into creating our musical performances for these. Summer Term is a true consolidation of our musical skills as new topics require learners to apply existing knowledge and abilities in new and different contests and styles....all done with the usual high level of enthusiasm and effort from Willington's musicians!

ABRSM Exams - 18 June 2025

An examination session is booked to be held at school on 18 June.  Please use the APPLICATION FORM  if your son / daughter is keen to take their music examination at that time.  Application deadline is 16 May.

RECITAL - Tuesday 3 June 2025

Please complete the expression of interest FORM as soon as possible to indicate that your son/daughter is keen to participate in this event.
