Willington Prep - Celebrating 140 years - 1885-2025
In English, we continued reading "Clockwork" and had fun inventing our own humorous diseases like Dr Kalemnius, such as "broccophobia." Maths lessons focused on factor pairs, square numbers, and prime numbers. In PSHCE, we discussed stereotypes and gender equality worldwide. RE lessons covered the story of Moses. In Science, we classified animals by their features and sorted flowering and non-flowering plants. Art was all about drawing and painting fish with watercolours. In Spanish, we practiced verbs, true/false statements, and learned vegetable names. Computing sessions focused on touch typing and programming mazes using commands like RT for right turn. Geography saw us investigating different job types across four categories, while in History, we learned about the countries involved in WW2 and their alliances, gearing up for our upcoming trip next Wednesday.
