Willington Prep - Celebrating 140 years - 1885-2025
The summer term is here!
In English, we kicked off our new book, Clockwork, and we wrote imaginative diary entries about our adventures seeing the great clock in Germany. In Maths, we are recapping place value, focusing on counting in 25s, and diving into the world of Roman numerals. Our Geography lessons have been creative, as we just completed scrapbook pages on our rivers topic, showcasing all the knowledge we've gained this topic.
In History, we wrapped up our fascinating exploration of the Aztecs, learning about their rise and fall. In Art, we are putting the finishing touches on our marble mazes, and soon we will embark on a new and exciting topic: sealife!
In Spanish, we’ve been learning how to name different fruits and enjoyed some fun Easter games. Finally, in Computing, we are mastering a technique called 2Logo on Purple Mash, which allows us to create squared shapes.
