The children were excited to see each other and had lots of talk regarding Easter egg hunts in amazing places. There were lots of lovely descriptions of all the different Easter eggs received from dinosaurs to Peppa Pig eggs.
We have been busy this week recalling last term's life cycle topic and introducing this term's new topic, ‘Opposites’ . We have had lots of laughter and giggles as the children learn and understand the concept of opposites which the children have found interesting.
We learnt a song about opposites and learnt many different variations of opposites, for example, on/off sleep/awake stop/start etc. We explored outdoor opposites while looking at different pictures of big-small, tall-short trees at Richmond Park.
Our letter and sound of the week is 'R'. The children were captivated by our the Phonics Song and learnt new words beginning with 'R'.
Week beginning 28th April.
All clubs will start this week. Please send a snack in with your child if they are attending a club.
