Willington Prep - Celebrating 140 years - 1885-2025
This week in Year 4, we have been busy exploring lots of exciting new learning! In Maths, we have been focusing on place value and developing our understanding of numbers. In English, we have started our new class book Danny the Champion of the World and have been working on writing detailed character descriptions about Danny. In Science, we have been investigating temperature and learning how heat moves from warmer places to cooler ones. Our Geography lessons have involved recapping the continents and oceans of the world, while in History we have begun exploring the Roman Empire and discovering just how much land they conquered. In RE, we have started learning about the Bible as part of our Christianity topic, and in PSHCEE we have been thinking about personal qualities and celebrating what makes each of us unique.
