We’ve had a wonderful second week in nursery, and it’s been lovely to see how settled and happy the children are becoming. 

This week we introduced our new topic “All About me”. We started with emotions, talking about how they feel, and painting beautiful pictures to express different emotions. The children also decorated mini versions of themselves for our birthday chart. The children had fun as we painted our hands for handprints and compared hand sizes with friends. 

We are pleased to share how well the children have adjusted to transitions into our specialist classrooms such as music and PE, and are quickly becoming familiar with their specialist teachers. 

A special highlight this week has been the Lego room which has sparked so much excitement and creativity. The children have been exploring each section and proudly building railways, farms, zoos and more.
