Supermarket Volunteering
This week, a group of Y4 pupils from the Willington Helping Hands Crew continued our volunteering journey with the DONS local action group.
The DONS local action group, are a local based charity who collect and redistribute food to families in need. Supermarket stalls are their main food collection points and, without the stalls, the DONS local action group would not be able to provide to so many local people in need. We are so proud to be giving back to our community.
Willington Helping Hands Crew
This week children in Y3 to Y6 were given the opportunity to join our Willington Helping Hands Crew.
Thank you to everyone who has signed up, I look forward to see lots of you for volunteering opportunities throughout the year.

Did you know?
If you have an unwanted laptop or Chromebook, the “Keep kids connected” team at the Dons Local Action Group can restore and regift them to children to help reduce inequalities and fight digital poverty. Your device must be no longer than 8 years old, still in working order. It doesn't matter if you can't find the charger, DLAG can sort that.

If you have any unwanted furniture, DLAG will collect, restore and get it to families who are most in need.
