What  a busy week we have had in Nursery,

The children did  extremely well attending  their first PE on the big AstroTurf , French with madame Veloso where they met little  Lulu!  and music  where they all went exploring the very cool music room with Miss Callaway. the children  were absolutely amazing showing very good listening and understanding , following instructions with an excellent level of concentration and they all participated in almost every task asked of them.

The children then started making and decorating their birthday people using a number of media and material to go on display and they also decorated some very sweet wooden dolls using different colour felt tip pens to play with on their nature table.

The children were introduced to 'The Colour Monster' this week which is  a lovely story about emotions and feelings to help the children identify how they feel using a colour coded jars, for example the colour Yellow represent Happiness!

The children  enjoyed  listening to this story , they  each started drawing their own colour monster to go on display with all the other coloured monsters..!

The children  thoroughly enjoyed a sensory play where they had to add  water to this dry powder and watch it change into a gooey,  slimey geli. they  digging deep using their hands searching  for different breeds of missing family fishes! counting, matching and pairing the fishes and  sorting them  into family groups! 'Maths'
