Dear Parents,
As we complete our first full week of the term, I’m thrilled to share the fantastic progress our students have made in their art classes.
Our Reception children have been busy drawing shapes, while Year 1 children have brought the beauty of autumn leaves to life through their paintings. Year 2 have been inspired by Yayoi Kusama’s iconic patterns, and Year 3 have been learning to draw intricate patterns. Year 4 have explored the vibrant underground mosaics of Eduardo Paolozzi, and Year 5 have painted some truly delicious looking cakes. Meanwhile, Year 6 students have been deepening their knowledge of African patterns.
I look forward to showcasing more of our students' artistic endeavours throughout the year. Please enjoy the childrens' work in progress have shared below.
Warm regards,
Miss Beere
