DAY 21
Pick up your piece of rubbish for the day, and ask your teacher to add the total to the graph on the Young Ocean Explorers website. How much did your class pick up?
Celebrate!
Look at the difference we have all made TOGETHER!
Share your 100 year plans if you haven't already.
Share them with Young Ocean Explorers if you want to - we'd love to see your ideas!
THINK - what have you learnt from the 21 day challenge? What ideas did you hear that you like? Perhaps you could combine ideas to make a master plan for your area. Your school could be leaders in your area and get others on board helping - one day your dreams could become a reality and your children and grandchildren will be so thankful!
Well done - thank you for taking up the challenge to make a difference!

Encourage your family to pick up at least 1 piece of rubbish a day
Join a group who cares for your local environment
Go snorkelling and see what is in the moana
Marine Metre squared - look carefully to see what lives at a beach near you.
Think before you take - if you are out fishing or gathering kaimoana make sure you only take what you need.
Write a letter to your local council about your ideas for the future of your area
Get together with friends and plan how you could make a start on the 100 year plan.
ENJOY the beaches, lakes, rivers, and the ocean, and appreciate what an amazing place we have - worth caring for!
