Explore life in and around waterways in Aotearoa (awa/roto/moana - rivers/lakes/ocean) - look at our connections to the water in our local environment and the connection to the ocean. You will be introduced to many amazing creatures, and see how you can be part of helping our oceans and local waterways to thrive now and into the future.

• UNDERSTAND the importance of our waterways, and find out about some of the living things that rely on them; 

• KNOW about issues that can affect our taiao (environment) and people who are working to make a difference; 

• DO - find out about the past in your rohe / area, and plan for the future.
