Isabelle has been obsessed with 16th century clothing for 15 years. Because of the warm climates she has lived in, Italian fashions have taken over her wardrobe and research.

Did you know the idea of faking an under shirt or layers did not start in the 20th century with the Dickie? 16th century women frequently would fill in the low neckline of their dresses with what the English called a partlet. In this class we are going to discuss some of the different styles, their names, and how to draft your own.
