Introduction to Bobbin Lace-making

Learn the basics of making period bobbin lace. In the first part of the class we will discuss the tools, equipment, and a brief history. For the second part, we will work hands-on doing a basic period pattern. For the second part you can watch are participate. If you plan to participate you will need a lace pillow (several options possible), 4 pairs of bobbins, thread (size 30 crochet cotton works well), straight pins, scissors, and graph paper.
