Report Cards/Grading

Distinguished Honor Roll

To be included on the Distinguished Honor Roll, a student must obtain a grade of "A" in all subjects.

Grades

Grades are assigned by each teacher each marking period and reflect effort, progress, responsibility and performance in relation to state standards.  You will be informed at the beginning of each course what your teacher’s specific requirements are for completing assignments, participating in class discussions, studying for tests and evaluating quality and performance.  If you ever have a question about your grades, it is your responsibility to ask for “conference time” with your teacher and/or guidance counselor.

Honor Roll

To be included on the Distinguished Honor Roll, a student must obtain a grade of "A" or "B" in all subjects.

Interim Reports and Report Cards

Interim reports are mid-marking period reports which are used to formally advise parents of concerns about a student’s academic and/or social progress when deemed advisable by the teacher.  Because this brief report cannot give complete information, parents are encouraged to email the teacher to arrange for a conference.  

Report Cards are issued to all students four times a year and are available through the Parent Portal.

1st Marking Period

September 7, 2023 through November 15, 2023

2nd Marking Period 

November 16, 2023 through January 30, 2024

Interim Progress Reports issued: December 14, 2023

Grade 8 Geometry Aptitude test: December 19 & 20, 2023

Grade 6 Math Midterm Exam: January 25, 2024

Grade 7 Math Midterm Exam: January 25 & 26, 2024

Grade 8 Math Midterm Exam: January 25 & 26, 2024

Report cards issued: February 14, 2024

3rd Marking Period 

January 31, 2024 through April 16, 2024

Interim Progress Reports issued: March 5, 2024

4th Marking Period 

April 17, 2024 through June 20, 2024
