As a core committee member for the ServICE Conference, I played an active role in ensuring the event ran smoothly. My responsibilities included assisting teachers, supervising younger students, and supporting my peers in various tasks. Throughout the conference, I helped guide participants, facilitated activities, and made sure everything was well organized.
This experience was meaningful because the conference focused on spreading awareness about global issues and finding solutions through collaboration. By assisting in different aspects of the event, I contributed to creating an environment where students could engage in discussions, participate in activities, and develop a deeper understanding of service and global challenges.
Being part of the core committee required teamwork, adaptability, and problem-solving. I had to quickly respond to different situations, whether it was helping students navigate the event, assisting teachers with their sessions, or supporting my peers when they needed extra help. It was a rewarding experience to see the impact of our efforts in making the conference successful.
Through this service experience, I realized the importance of leadership, responsibility, and collective action in addressing important global issues. It reinforced my belief that even small efforts can contribute to meaningful change when people work together toward a common goal.
