Learning Outcomes
Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth
Students are able to see themselves as individuals with various abilities and skills, of which some are more developed than others.
Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process
A new challenge may be an unfamiliar experience or an extension of an existing one. The newly acquired or developed skills may be shown through experiences that the student has not previously undertaken or through increased expertise in an established area.
Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences
Students demonstrate regular involvement and active engagement in CAS.
As part of my CAS Creativity experience, I spent time learning and practicing cooking. I really enjoyed the process of preparing meals, trying out new recipes, and experimenting with different ingredients. It was fun to see how combining simple things could turn into something delicious.
Cooking was not only enjoyable but also a great way for me to learn something new. I discovered techniques I hadn’t tried before, like how to season properly or how to cook certain foods just right. Sometimes it didn’t go as planned, but I kept learning from my mistakes and improving.
This experience helped me become more confident in the kitchen and allowed me to express my creativity in a new way. I’m excited to continue cooking and exploring different dishes in the future.
