Project Invent

*This class is part of the STEM Academy and works alongside of all other program areas. It is NOT limited to STEM students. 

96102X0F1 Project Invent – This course is available in all program areas as a follow-up course to any pathway. The class is part of the national Project Invent program. Students work in teams alongside community members to develop inventions and solve identified problems. The class is focused on team-building and 95% of work is done within groups. There is a focus on the design process, graphic design, 3D modeling, programming, and entrepreneurship. Groups complete a final pitch of their invention through the national program platform. The class can be used as part of the STEM Academy requirements.

*Students that complete this class and final project can use it for their end-of-year STEM project credit

After Completing this Track: Students should understand the steps to develop human-centered design. They gain groups skills and have increased competencies in presentation, explanation and problem-solving.
