Colleges, employers, and recruiters want to see that you do something productive during your free time.  Enrichment programs offer a variety of academic, athletic, and character building opportunities!

Go on a College Tour / Visit

Start exploring now!  If you are driving to the beach or to the mountains this summer, make a list of colleges to visit along the way!

Get a Job!

Volunteer

Take a FREE CCP Course through Wake Tech Community College

This is a great way to supplement your high school transcript and show that you are willing to go above and beyond the minimum high school requirements!

Write your Common App Essay

Common App has already released their Essay Prompts for the 2022-2023 school year.  Completing your first draft of your college essay can take one big stressor off your plate for senior year!

Make a list of colleges you want to apply to!

Review the transcript provided by your counselor during registration meetings.  This displays your GPA and class rank.  Start researching colleges to see which schools seem like a good fit for you.  Use the College Options tab on this website for tips to get started.
