Failing your English class will always result in lack of promotion. You will be retained in your current grade level if you do not pass your English course.
Promotion helps you stay on track to graduate from high school ON TIME. High School is designed to be completed in 4 years.
If you do not get promoted, you should be talking with your counselor FREQUENTLY and know exactly what you need to do in order to get back on track
