NC College Connect is back for the 2026-2027 school year, and this year, all public school seniors in North Carolina will receive direct admission! Just like past years, students with a 2.8 GPA and above, who meet NC College Connect program requirements, will be eligible for direct admission at a select list of participating colleges and universities.
Students below the 2.8 threshold will receive direct admission to their local community college.
Students’ eligibility will be determined by their GPA at the close of their junior year, in addition to having already met NC College Connect requirements. The higher a student’s GPA, the more schools they will be directly admitted to.
To prepare, students should work with their counselors and other high school personnel to ensure they are on track to meet the eligibility requirements. So, check in with your students and make sure they're ready!
Go to NCCollegeConnect.org for more information!
