CURRENT STUDENTS: Sending your Transcript to Colleges/Universities
To SEND a transcript to a college/university, you have 3 options...
If you are applying to this college/university via CommonApp, you must add your school counselor to your account. This allows your counselor to upload your transcript to your application. ALL colleges/universities on your CommonApp will be able to access this transcript.
You can send your transcript to ANY college/university in North Carolina for FREE through CFNC. If you are applying to a NC college/university and NOT using CommonApp, you MUST send your transcript using CFNC.
If you are applying to a college/university that is NOT on the Common App and is NOT a North Carolina school, you MUST send your transcript using ScribOrder.
CURRENT STUDENTS: To request a transcript for CCP, a job, a scholarship, or any other personal use...
For Career & College Promise (CCP):
Under "Reason for Request" click the box marked "Other"
Under "Information Type" click the box marked "Career and College Promise"

Mid-Year Transcripts for Seniors (Semester 1 grades)
Information about Mid-Year Transcripts for Seniors:
Midyear transcripts (transcripts showing your Semester 1 grades and updated GPA/rank) will be available during February of your senior year. If a college is requesting first semester grades by an earlier date, you may self-report or send a screenshot of your grades from PowerSchool.
If the college or university is asking for a midyear transcript or updated grades and uses the Common Application Program, counselors will upload midyear transcripts to Common App once they are available in February.
If you need a midyear transcript sent to a college or university in North Carolina that is NOT on Common App, you must request this through your CFNC account.
If the college or university needs an updated transcript and is outside of North Carolina, continue to use ScribOrder.
Many colleges and universities ask that you self-report your 1st semester grades. If this is the case, then you would not need to request a transcript.
FINAL Transcripts for Seniors
Final Transcripts will be available the last week of June to send to colleges and universities.
- Students attending In-State Universities:
CFNC will automatically send an electronic copy of the final transcript to all NC colleges if the student sent a transcript through CFNC earlier in the year. Students must make sure that the college they are attending has been requested via CFNC.
If a student did not originally request a transcript to an in-state school through CFNC then they need to login to www.cfnc.org and make the request in May of senior year so that a final transcript request will be pending for June after graduation. Students need to ensure all 3 sections of their profile are complete and correct.
- Students attending Out-of-State Universities:
Students will submit a final transcript request through https://wcpss.scriborder.com/ in late May/early June. These requests will be held and final transcripts will be sent around the end of June.
Your counselor will NOT send your final transcript through Common App.
FORMER STUDENTS: To request a transcript as a former student...
