Types of Courses:
Students can register for Academic, Honors, Advanced Placement (AP), and/or International Baccalaureate (IB) courses at Broughton. Students can also apply to be a dual-enrollment student and take Career & College Promise (CCP) courses at Wake Tech.

BHS Schedule Change & Level Change Policy:
Student schedules are created based on course requests made during course registration. Students must choose course request carefully because they are committed to those selections. Students may receive any combination of electives and/or alternates.

CTE Internship for SENIORS:
Rising Seniors interested in completing an internship for course credit during their Senior year, who are not already in the Career Academy, should register for "CTE Internship BMA Honors" during course registration.
Students who registered for the course during course registration will be contacted through email about an Interest Meeting date in May during Advisory. Students must attend an Interest Meeting in May in order to apply to the Internship Program. Specific details about the Internship Program and application requirements will be presented at the Interest Meeting in May. .
Additional info:
Internships must be completed during the school year for course credit (not over the summer months).
At least 120 hours at the internship site are required for course credit
Students must provide their own transportation to and from the internship site
Internship sites must be off campus and not under the supervision of a family member
Students are responsible for finding their own internship site and supervisor
