Course Request Process

Directions on the Scheduling Process

In February, our School Counseling Department will begin assisting students with their course requests for the 2024-2025 school year.  The deadline for submitting the Course Request Form is FEBRUARY 16, 2024.

Step 1: Students will be viewing the Scheduling Presentation the week of February 12-14.

Step 2: Students will need to review the Program of Studies. Students should use the Program of Studies Booklet to review the graduation requirements and to read course descriptions of the courses available. Students should be sure to use the grade appropriate listing of electives available in the Program of Studies to choose appropriate courses (check the prerequisites).  

Step 3: Complete the Course Request Form below for your grade level and sign where indicated. On the back of each form is a list of classes available for your grade level. If you are taking an AP class, you must also complete the AP form below. Return the form to your School Counselor by FEB. 16, 2024. 

Step 4: Once a completed (and signed) form has been received, the counselors will schedule an individual meeting with each student to review their course requests. (During the course planning appointment, your child’s School Counselor will discuss the appropriateness of their choices. Changes can be made where necessary.) 

Appointments will not be honored without a completed, signed course request form!

Course planning meetings will begin with the current Grade 11 students and continue until all students have been seen.
