Positive
Two marchers disagree on the accuracy of their field position(s). Their section leader waits for a break in instruction to consult the drill chart and accurately measure their positions from the correct field markings. One marcher had the correct measurement, but was not guiding to the form. Both agreed to strive for perfection in rehearsal, but to ultimately adjust to the form in performance to present a more desirable figure on the field.
Negative
Sam felt wronged by another player on the pitch. He was visibly upset and the players exchanged harsh words.
Possible Resolution
The team captain observed the play in question and intervened as the conflict arose. He pulled both players to the sideline and asked each to calmly recount their experience. Where Sam felt targeted, the other player had his eyes set on the goal. Their collision was rough but accidental and in the spirit of aggressive gameplay. Both men apologized for their outsized response and shook hands.
