Virginia Tech Foundation
The Virginia Tech Foundation has implemented a new online deposit application to be used for all Other Income deposits. Other Income deposits are all non-gift and non-grant related deposits into Foundation funds. This new application can be found at https://vtf.org/deposit or on our website. Electronic submission via the app replaces the paper form.
The Other Income Deposit app is available for use now and will be required effective Oct 1, 2023. Instructions are included within the app.
When physical deposits must be made to the Foundation, submit the deposit information through the app. You’ll be presented with a confirmation number both onscreen and via email. Include this number within the deposit package then deliver it to the Foundation office for processing.

VTF Mission:
According to the Virginia Tech Foundation website, "the Virginia Tech Foundation, Inc. was established in 1948 to receive, manage, and disburse private gifts in support of Virginia Tech programs. The purpose of the foundation is to manage private funds given for the support of the university, and to foster and promote the growth, progress and general welfare of the university".
General Department Information:
Holds Scholarship, Fellowship, and Unrestricted funds
Financial activity occurs in Banner funds starting with an 8 (8******)
Have separate purchasing and accounting procedures from regular Banner
Can use DEPART system to submit purchase request and reconcile
ACCESS
VTF Banner access is available to all authorized users and inquiry users, so that funds may be monitored.
To obtain access into VTF Banner, complete the following steps:
