If you're open to it, I can show you a strategy that you can use if you're feeling overwhelmed now, or at any point in the future!
It's a mindfulness meditation adapted from Lou Grantham, centered on your health and that of your loved ones
First, I'd like you to find a comfortable position - seated or lying down is great
Whatever feels best for you!
Once you're comfortable, I recommend using headphones to listen to one of these while we work (one is ~20 minutes and one is ~6 minutes):
Now, I'd like you to imagine a strong and gentle cord connecting you to the earth
Imagine all the energy inside of you flowing through that cord and down into the ground below you
Now, picture another connection - this time, reaching from your body allll the way up to the stars!
Imagine that energy inside of you flowing smoothly upward towards the planets and constellations above
At this point, I'd like you to visualize a point of balance between the earth and the sky
This point of balance may be in the center of your body, or it might be hovering just in front of you
Right, ok
Now, try to think of a color that represents healing, protection, and health
What color reminds you most of those qualities?

Now, I'd like you to imagine a field of energy in that color gently surrounding you
Like a beautiful, shimmering cloud that has floated down from the sky
As this color surrounds you and protects you, imagine it slowly making its way into your body
It reaches every cell, filing you with strength and peace
Take a deep breath in...
Wait and count 8 seconds
Slowly let the breath out
You're doing a great job
Now that you're filled with your healing color, I'd like you to create a tiny rose in your mind
Imagine that it has beautiful light inside it, creating a glow out from the leaves and petals in a healthy bloom
Finally, I'd like you to think of a few people you love
They might be people that you're worried about right now, or that you simply wish you could be in better touch with
Gather as many of your special roses as you need
Now imagine each one floating to every person you have in mind you'd like, you can send roses to everyone you know, and everyone you don't know
It's up to you --taking a moment to do this is your healing gift to everything and everyone in the world that you love
It's also a healing gift to yourself!
