Black sesame biscuits
Ingredients
(40 small biscuits)
120g vegan butter
100g plain flour
20g corn flour
20g black sesame powder
3 tbsp (45g) Sugar
A bit salt
Methods
1. Soften butter at room temperature. Whisk until slightly white (about 10 mins with hand whisker).
2. Add sugar and continue whisk 2-3 mins.
3. Add black sesame powder, flour and corn flour. Mix well.
4. Fill the mixture in the piping bag. Squeeze biscuits on the baking tray. Alternatively, scoop with a spoon.
5. Bake 13 - 15 mins at 180 Celsius
Note
1. Whisk butter “back and forth” rather than rotate
2. Baking TEMPERATURE DIFFERS on thickness, oven power and flour. Observe closely after smelling black sesame.
