Quick onset of illness can happen to anyone at any time and may be very distressing if you do not have access to medical advice. Most acute illnesses are viral and will resolve without medical intervention within 7-10 days. However, if you would like to be seen for any concern, please call the office to schedule an appointment - 828-682-6118. Same day availability is dependent upon the regular clinic schedule, but our staff will do their best to get you in as soon as possible.
Acute concerns are episodes involving:
Fever greater than 100.5 °F
Cough less than two weeks
Congestion
Sore throat
Ear aches
Minor cuts
Urinary pain
Vaginal discharge
If you are experiencing shortness of breath or chest pain, please call 911 or visit the nearest emergency room for care
