It is the policy of Yancey County Health Department of Public Health to provide services and benefits to those individuals who are entitled to receive them without regard to race, color, sex, national origin, disability, religion, age, sexual orientation or gender identity on a voluntary basis. Refusal of a service or inability to pay for a particular service does not result in the denial of any clinical service or benefits of the agency. It is the policy of Yancey County Department of Health that each client/ customer will be treated with dignity and respect.
