Additional Information

This delivery will require the following:

Using familiar childhood skills of LEGO construction, this collaborative activity explores and extends, teamwork, communication, evaluation and emotional resilience, emphasising transferable skills to support a successful academic journey, using problem solving and coding.

This activity is delivered via LEGO Prime Spike Educational kits and we arrive with the appropriate IT support equipment.

Students are tasked to build programmable robots, test them and then improve them either against a revised specification or based on criteria decided upon by the participants. Complexity of coding versus construction is fluid and can be adjusted to a wide range of abilities and understanding. There are no wrong or right answers, just a process of review, assess, revisit.

The activity is supported by trained student ambassadors.
