This Easter we are running a 2 day Year 11 GCSE Revision Booster Camp, taking place at the University Campus on Tuesday 9th and Wednesday 10th April.
Students can choose between a Maths or English strand as well as sessions around areas such as confidence and exam anxiety.
The programme is designed to support subject knowledge enhancement, exam confidence, and generate a sense of belonging and will include a talk from an inspirational speaker, culminating in a celebration session.
The final programmes will be published after Feb half-term, however, we anticipate the following:
English – AQA – themes covered: Language analysis; unseen poetry, Transactional Writing; Reading an unseen non-fiction text; Critical Response.
Maths – AQA and OCR – themes covered include: Shape, Ratio, and Algebra + key themes from Foundation and Higher OCR.
The Revision Camp is aimed at students who either:
fulfil our Eligibility criteria
predicted a Grade 3 or 4 in the subject
students who will be determined to benefit from the programme
How to book or register your interest:
We ask interested schools to elect students to attend either the Maths programme or the English programme by email at participate@sussex.ac.uk. We ask for your support in individual students filling out our individual booking form.
