The first challenge of the project will work with the Sadness; due to this, students will have to watch a video with the virtual glasses and afterwards, by using the tick it panels create a drawing that explains and reflects their emotions. Finally, they will have to explain their creation to all the class. The teacher will also have to create a discussion where all the students will be able to explain freely what the video has made them feel.
2. SESSION: SADNESS
The second session will carry on the first part of the escape room, the first challenge students will have to achieve. In this session we would need more time to carry it, because of that we will divide it into two sessions.
In the first one, students will have to help Laia to arrive at the first challenge. For that they will use the beebot and they will have to calculate how to arrive, to make this possible all the students will have to work together and arrive at an agreement.
Once they have done it the teacher will put the first scratch story and in it students will be asked to watch one video with the virtual glasses. After, they will have to draw in the tick it panels whatever the video makes them feel.
Skills: They will use two skills. On one hand, mathematics while moving the bee bot. On the other hand, they will work on their art skills, especially expressing their feelings with art.
Objectives: Learn about sadness and let them express it with art.
Evidence: A photo of the drawing will be taken and saved.
This is the following of the first challenge and because of that it is recommended to do it on the same day. After drawing their feelings the teacher will take a photo of what they have done. Following this, students will be reunited in the circle around the map and each one will have to explain why he or she has drawn that and what the video has made them feel. Finally, they will all save what they have done.
Skills: They will acquire their communication skills while speaking about their feelings.
Objectives: Feel comfortable to speak about what they have felt while watching the video and also, why they have to draw that.
Evidence: It is the following part of the first exercise. Due to this, the evidence will be the drawings they had made before.
