Nuria Largo Román

Me llamo Nuria Largo Román, tengo 16 años y estudio 4ºE.S.O en el I.E.S. Al-Qázeres, donde curso la materia de Cultura Científica durante el presente curso.

A lo largo de mi vida, he pensado en varios estudios universitarios que me gustaría realizar en el futuro, la mayoría de ellos relacionados con la Ciencia. Mi vocación científica viene desde pequeña; a los 7 años me apasionaba el espacio y quería dedicarme a la investigación del Universo siendo astronauta, con 11 años, me encantaba la idea de enseñar Educación Física a los niños, el deporte es mi pasión. Siendo un poco mayor, con 13 años, se me ocurrió la idea de estudiar Medicina, porque quería ayudar y curar a la gente enferma, pero sobre todo investigar nuevos tratamientos para la gente enferma de cáncer. Recientemente, a los 16 años, mi idea es estudiar un doble grado de Fisioterapia y Enfermería, esta es finalmente mi idea de futuro. Me gustaría estudiar Fisioterapia para conocer y saber tratar los problemas musculares que tiene una persona lesionada y enfocarlos en el deporte, mi pasión. Completando mis estudios con Enfermería, para tratar a pacientes y ayudarles a que mejoren su salud.

Entre mis aficiones destaca el deporte; practico mucho deporte, principalmente fútbol y tenis de mesa, me relajan y distraen de los estudios.

Practico fútbol desde los 7 años y tenis de mesa desde los 9. Mucha gente me pregunta cómo puedo practicar tanto deporte y sacar tan buenos resultados académicos a la vez, y yo les respondo que si quieres hacer algo que te encanta, sacarás tiempo para poder hacer lo que te gusta.

Otra de mis pasiones son los idiomas, me gusta aprender idiomas, me serán muy útiles en un futuro, principalmente el inglés.

Me gustaría viajar a diferentes países para conocer sus culturas, pero lo que más me gustaría, sería viajar para conocer las diferentes tradiciones gastronómicas de cada país.

My name is Nuria, I'm 16 years old and I study 4th of Secundary School at the I.E.S. Al-Qázeres, where I study the subject of Scientific Culture during this course.

Throughout my life, I have thought about several university studies that I would like to do in the future, most of them related to Science. My scientific vocation comes to me since I was little; when I was 7 years old I was passionate about the space and I wanted to dedicate my self to the investigation of the Universe as an astronaut, when I was 11 years old, I loved they idea of teaching Phisycal Education to children, sport is my biggest passion. Being a bit older, with 13 years old, the idea of studying Medicine came to me because I wanted to help and treat sick people but, above all, to investigate new treatments for people with cancer. Recently, when I was 16, my idea is to study a double degree in Physiotherapy and Nursing, this is finally what I want to do in the future. I would like to study Physiotherapy to know how to treat the muscular problems that an injured person has and focus it on sport, my passion. Completing my studies with Nursing, to deal with patients and help them improve their health.

Among my hobbies, the most outstanding one is sport, in fact, I practice a lot of sports, mainly soccer and table tennis, they distract and evade me from studies.

I have practised soccer since I was 7 and table tennis since I was 9. Many people ask me how I can practice so much sport and get such good academic results at the same time, and I reply that if you want to do something you love, you will take time to do it.

Another of my passions is languages, I like learning languages since I will find them very useful in the future, specially English.

I would like to travel to different countries to get to know their cultures, but what I would most like to do would be to get to know the different gastronomic traditions of each country.
