Andrea Nevado Bustillo

Soy Andrea Nevado Bustillo, alumna de 4ºESO-British en el IES Al- Qázeres, donde curso la materia de Cultura Científica.

A mis 16 años, sigo sin tener claro hacia dónde quiero encaminar mis estudios. En un primer momento, la idea de ser médico y dedicar mi vida a la investigación cobró gran importancia; sin embargo, durante estos últimos meses, me he ido decantando por enfocar mi futuro hacia las Relaciones Internacionales. El curso escolar 2020-2021 lo cursaré en Estados Unidos gracias a la Beca Amancio Ortega, y espero conocerme mejor a mí misma para, así, despejar todas mis dudas.

Entre mis aficiones se encuentra el deporte, viajar, los idiomas y me encantan los animales. Acudir al gimnasio a diario y los paseos con mi perro son mi forma de evadirme, y los ratos que más disfruto. Soy muy activa, pero también tengo momentos de quietud en los que disfruto con un libro en las manos. Me apasiona conocer lugares, personas y culturas distintas, concibo viajar como una filosofía de vida; por ello, mi objetivo es aprender tantos idiomas como sea posible, y recorrer el mundo sin barrera alguna. El motor de mi motivación es aprender (en general, de todo); creo que la curiosidad por saber nos hace tener la mente abierta y es el vehículo para crecer y avanzar.

I am Andrea Nevado Bustillo, a student of 4th of Secondary School at the IES Al-Qázeres, where I study the subject of Scientific Culture.

At the age of 16 years old, I do not have clear where should I direct my studies to. Firstly, the idea of becoming a doctor and dedicate my life to research gained great importance; however, during the last few months, I've opted for focusing my future towards International Relationships. Thanks to the Amancio Ortega Scholarship, I'll study next school year in the United States, where I'm expecting to get to know myself better and, therefore, clear up my doubts.

Practicing sport, travelling, and studying languages are among my main hobbies, and I love animals. Going to the gym and taking my dog for is how I evade myself, and the moments I enjoy the most. I consider myself as a very active person, but I also have certain quiet moments that I'm delighted by having a book in my hands. I'm passionate for discovering new places, cultures and meeting people, I conceive travelling as a life philosophy; that is why my goal is to learn as many languages as possible, so that I can travel the world without any barriers. The motor for my motivation is to learn (in general, about everything); I believe that curiosity opens our mind and it's a vehicle for growing and progressing.
