Our mission
The purpose of the Viking Village is to support the education of our students at Whittier Elementary by fostering relationships among the school, parents, and teachers. If you are a parent or caregiver of a child at Whittier Elementary School, congratulations! You are already a member of the Viking Village. We hope to see you at a meeting, event, or volunteering in the classroom, on a committee or fundraiser, at a field trip, or in your home. Your involvement is invaluable. It shows the children how much you value their education and that you support our school and its staff in providing it.

2025-206 Accomplishments
Purchased NEW Whittier t-shirts for all kinder students
Supported the school soccer program for 4+ years!
Be The Change event encouraging students to "be the change" in their communities.
Over $4,000 were given in Teacher Grants for classroom supplies and activities.
Staff Pick Me Up Day - celebrated Whittier staff with a day of goodies
Staff Appreciation Week - showered the staff with a full week of activities and gifts!
