TRANSPORT
There are a number of good options for transportation. Most are quite expensive however.
If you have a relative or friend with a decent looking car then you can get wedding car decoration kits that will make the car look amazing. Taxi
You could also take a taxi to and from your wedding. Just make sure the driver knows the importance of the event. You could even ask them to add a ribbon and bow. Just give them a big tip or hire them out for a few hours. If you are going to need a lot of taxis for guests at some point it helps to contact a local cab firm and then they can arrange for taxis to be outside for the guests. You don’t want a mad scramble or guests being late.
Hiring a Car
If money is no object then you can hire the car of your dreams. Just make sure your wedding dress will fit into it. A classic car or a sports car can certainly add class to your day. A horse and carriage is popular and yet still unique. You could also hire a double decker bus which will have the name of you and your spouse on. This is also good if you have to transport guests. Not all of them will have transport themselves so it is always a good idea to lay some on if the ceremony and reception are in different places. If money is too tight to put on transport then you could ask guests who have cars to give those who don’t a lift. They shouldn’t mind.
Always factor in extra time when travelling on your wedding day. Country lanes have tractors and cities have traffic. Both have to be taken into account. If you can do the journey in advance on the same day and at the same time that your wedding would be. Also make sure there are no football games or other special events around the time of your wedding that could hold things up. See if there are alternative routes too. That should ease some stress just in case things start running late. Something else to consider is parking. Make sure there is enough and that guests know where parking is located.
